2. Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare D1 (Cloudflare, Inc., USA; database region: EU). To deliver pages and protect against attacks, Cloudflare processes connection data such as your IP address. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.

3. Searches on the home page

When you search or pick a task on the home page, we save the search text, the task it matched (if any), whether it came from typing, the button or a chip, and the time. We use this only to understand what visitors look for and improve the site. We store no IP address, cookie, account, device ID or browser fingerprint with it. Email addresses, links and long numbers in a search are replaced with placeholders before saving; please do not type other personal details. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in improving the site. Searches are deleted after 180 days.

4. Abuse protection

To stop the search log being flooded, each request is counted for one minute under a one-way hash of your IP address, a secret and the current minute. The hash cannot be turned back into an address, and counters are deleted after two minutes. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. No cookies or tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Fonts are served from our own domain.

6. Links to AI tools

Links to AI tools take you to their websites, which have their own privacy policies. Some links may earn us a commission; those are marked as sponsored.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). Because searches are stored without any identifier, we usually cannot link a stored search to you. Contact us using the details above.

8. Complaints

You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.
